Classical education has seen a strong revival over the past four decades. This revival has occurred in both the private and public sectors of education. It spans theological creeds, educational models, and state lines. It even extends outside the United States. This revival spans curriculum providers and publishers, colleges and universities, charter school companies, home educators, and even our own political structures. As the health and importance of this influence inevitably grows in the coming generation, it is only right to recognize and honor those who have continued to be the top voices and leaders in this historic recovery, year after year. Some individuals on this list are speakers and authors. Some are entrepreneurs and thought leaders. Some are researchers and politicians. Some are corporate executives. Some are college professors and beloved board members. Whatever post or position an individual may hold, we recognize them for having taken that opportunity to advance the cause and case of classical education in honorable and substantive ways.
Nostos is proud to announce the 2024 "Top 50 Classical Education Leaders." Those who made this list have shown a depth and width of considerable influence in recent times, many of them now in their third or fourth decade of service to the recovery of the liberal arts and classical tradition. We thank and honor these individuals, and will spend the remainder of this year highlighting each of them and the work they do. For updates and individual highlights, please sign up HEREand join the Facebook group "The Classical Hub."
