Young men are at a crossroads in our Catholic Churches today. More than that, they are at the banks of a river. The river is fast-flowing, sometimes filled with living water and sometimes filled with the deadly debris of bad ideas, modern technology, pop culture, absent fathers, pornography, social media, financial confusion, rising costs of college tuition, declining quality in American education, and insecurities about their personal future. On the other side of the river is their future, their adulthood. Today they are boys, but once they cross this river they will be men. What kind of men will they be? What is equipping our young men in the Church today so that they are the men our Churches need in the future? What will become of our Catholic Churches in thirty years if our young men today are not strengthened in the faith, matured intellectually, and given all they need to peacefully cross the river before them? Welcome to the St. Christopher Project.
